Info: Church's original Poke-buddy, this Voltorb has been a thorn in his side from day one. Or, arguably, Church has been a thorn in Andy's side from day one. Andy would explode more often if it knew the moves; instead, its angry streak is reserved to mostly just shocking Church in annoyance or more often rolling over his feet to get attention. Not a fan of...well, anyone except the Mareep it helped Church befriend, so far, but damn if it won't protect its trainer from his own stupidity if it can help it.

Info: Met in Violet City in an inn that happened to be haunted by a fun-loving Gastly, probably wandered out of the Ruins of Alph by accident. Though initially spooked and annoyed by Slimer's antics, the little poisonous gas cloud kind of grew on Church. And Slimer liked the idea of getting out and seeing places with a trainer. Slimer followed him around until he was allowed to nudge himself into a pokeball to make it official. Has a habit of licking things. A lot.

Info: Caught on complete accident when mis-aiming his throw, sending a pokeball into the grass right into a sunning Bellsprout. Well, at least he caught something? Sister's starting to come on her own, now that Church has started using her more often in battles instead of keeping her an embarrassed secret. Mostly she just likes a little water and sunlight but can be a picky, persnickety sort. She feels it's the last he can do for her after unceremoniously snatching her up on accident.

Info: An accidental catch caused in the middle of the night in Ilex Forest when Church totally didn't panic and start throwing objects in the direction of creepy close noises. It surprised the both of them. Given this Stunky's nature of being a chilled nap-machine, and a heavy piece of shit, Church decided the perfect name was Dexter. Usually wants a nap after every battle but is fairly active at night, much to Church's chagrin.
Somehow evolved in his sleep and woke up with a voracious appetite for the energy use, and mostly didn't notice his change. Still thinks he's a little smaller than he actually is.

Has some weird habits, but honestly, are they any weirder than the habits of his OTHER pokemon?

Info: Took a nap on something soft-looking. Turned out to be an electric sheep. The Mareep didn't seem to mind, and Andy really took to her. She followed along for a little while until Church offered Woolite a ball--at Andy's insistence. She tries to get along with everyone with the patience and perseverance of a saint. And anyone is welcome to nap on her, given they don't get shocked too badly by her. Andy likes riding in her curls and soaking up any excess electrical discharge.
She stayed a Mareep for a time out of sheer willpower but eventually thought she'd be of more help evolved. Two feet took time to get used to as Flaafy, and now Ampharos doesn't even have wool to cuddle into. Still cuddly, though.

Zubat are every-fucking-where in that god damn cave, and they are annoying, and therefore she's gotta be Vic. (Or Vicky. She doesn't seem to care.) Reacts to sounds, more fight than flight. Doesn't think things all the way through.

Info: Church tripped on a rock. Look, let's cut to the chase, he didn't mean to catch a Ditto and it just happened because of tripping on a sleeping one that had transformed into a rock. Okay? Are you happy now? It took him ages to think of a name for Jimmy other than 'what the fuck', and even then, it's only as a courtesy (look, beating someone to death with their own skull doesn't seem physically possible, and neither does this thing). He's a little weirded out by the blob of...blob that can literally transform into anything. But he's also not gonna let it go. Could be a useful companion down the line maybe someday. Jimmy doesn't seem to mind too much. Kind of better than being a rock on the road, after all!

South likes showing off and, despite level, isn't one of Church's best listeners. He's a proud creature who likes a show of force when it's needed to remind people who was in charge back in The Day.

Info: A shiny egg left for him after an ordeal with a ghost masking itself as Tex, this little Yamask creeped him out a little on hatching--and on hearing what the dex had to say about him. But gosh darn the thing's just so timid and lonely in the world, and all he's known is Church and the gang. The name came as a challenge, but Church ultimately chose something related to the Egyptian world of the dead instead of something way closer to home. He feels something of a protective kinship with Osiris but has got to work on getting him to battle.

Info: Bred by York, obtained on 3/21/16, hatched on 3/28/16. A hot-tempered, yet goofy little kitten. York dotes on him but also laughs like an asshole before helping whenever Wash gets himself into trouble. When frightened, he hides behind his mother's legs.
Now that he's older, Wash's kittenish dorkiness is hidden under the stern glare of a Luxray. He jumps at the first sign of a challenge, but jumps just as well for a ball of yarn or a wiggling streamer.
Under Church, he's restless and misses York, not very willing to listen to the new trainer who doesn't even have any badges yet. Some of the party tries to make him feel welcome, but others are a little put-out by the new guy.

Info: Tucker's starter pokemon, Swish. Initially annoying, the Honedge quickly sort of realized its trainer is dumb. It usually lets Tucker bumble his way through situations without butting in but will occasionally remind Tucker that he's being dumb. Sometimes by fwapping Tucker in the face when he says something exceptionally stupid or gives out a bad pickup line. It doesn't play much or have a lot of interest in new people or pokemon, but it knows its trainer is trying hard to figure things out so it will step in and help keep Tucker safe when it needs to.
Church is a little creeped out by things that are sentient that should not be, and floating swords are on the list. Still, he has more affection for the Doublade than it does for him, seeing as he's all Church has left of Tucker. Swish quickly sort of realized its new trainer is also dumb. Doesn't associate much with the rest of the team, though has a soft spot for fellow outsider Washington.
